TEHRAN - New Zealand aims to revive the export of sheep meat to Iran, as the country's exporters consider it a lucrative trade, according to stuff.co.nz.
New Zealand's meat exporters can start sheep meat export to Iran later this year as efforts are made to revive a trade which was at its height during the boom years of the 1980s.
Nathan Guy, the primary industries minister of New Zealand, said that in his recent visit to Iran he had signed a veterinary agreement that would pave the way for exports to the Middle East country.
