Tehran - Valyallah Afkhamirad, the head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization ( TPO ), announced that the number of foreign trade deligations visiting Iran during the past Iranian calendar year of 1394 ( which ended on March 19,2016 ) became three times more than that of its preceding year, IRIB news reported on Monday.
 

"In 1394 , 64 trade deligations comprised of 837 foreign businessmen and officials from 28 contries visited Iran, " he said, "the figure tripled compaired to year of 1393 , when19 deligations including 477 people from 16 countries made trips to the Islamic Repoblic ," he added.

"accordingly, the number of visiting deligations increased 237 percent last year, while the number of visiting businessmen and countries recorded a 75 percent hike, " Afkhamirad noted.

As he added, TPO recived 42 trade deligations from 16 countries in the past year, while the number stood at five deligations from eight countries in 1393, with shows a 740 percent increase.

The officials described that making joint invesments, signing various MOUs, and granting the franchise of Iranian products to foreing countries were amoung the achivement of the paid visits to Iran.

Foreign countries and deligations are racing to secure business opportunities in Iran after Iran and the p5+1 group of countries reached and agreement over Tehran's Nuclear program in the Austrian Captal of Vienna on Julay 14, from amoung it can be refered to South Korea President Park Jeun - hye who arrived at Tehran on Sunday evening , accompanied by a 236-strogn deligation - the Largest team ever dispatched to a foreign country.
